Layout of the electronic unit
THE ELECTRONIC UNIT
The electronics unit (E-Unit) is enclosed in a box that is physically separated from the O-Unit. The box is pressurized to room conditions in order to use commercial electronic components. The near to vacuum conditions of the balloon flight would need higher-grade components that would prohibitively increase the instrument budget. The box uses a book-like structure where the two halves contain two boards each. The power converter module (PCM) and the high-voltage power supply can be seen to the left of the figure and the digital processing unit (DPU) and the analog, mechanisms, and heater driver board (AMHD) are displayed on the right-hand side.

Model of the scientific cameras
THE SCIENTIFIC CAMERAS
The two scientific cameras are made in house based on 2048 x 2048, 11 μm2 pixel GSENSE400BSI sensors. These cameras are also used by the SCIP spectropolarimeter aboard Sunrise.
