Scientific activities

Many numerical simulations have been carried out in order to study the selected line and wavelength samples for the instrument. The group has contributed greatly to the final team proposal to ESA in response to the announcement of opportunity for Solar Orbiter. The SPG currently co-leads the international consortium that builds SO/PHI together with the MPS.

Instrumentation activities

The SPG has contributed greatly to the final team proposal to ESA in response to the announcement of opportunity for Solar Orbiter. It currently co-leads the development team. It is specifically responsible of the electronic unit and the harness, as well as of the electronic inverter of the radiative transfer equation.
