TRAVEL
Granada has a small airport with domestic flights from Madrid and Barcelona, and (very) few international flights. Malaga airport is the nearest international airport, and lies about 130 km from Granada. A convenient 2 hour bus ride will take you to Granada (see https://www.alsa.com/en/web/bus/home#) from Malaga airport. It is also possible to reach Granada by bus from Madrid or other Spanish cities. And hiring a car is always an option.

We recommend to avoid driving in downtown Granada, as most historical downtown streets are forbidden for traffic and it is likely to get a fine (also, Medieval streets tend to be narrow and difficult). However, Granada is a small city and you can reach many sites just by walking.
